If you’re using Outlook to send mass emails for available loads, equipment, lanes or anything else—you need to listen up.

Firstly—what you’re doing can severely harm your company.

Why? Because when you email hundreds of people from Outlook, there isn’t a way for the reader to unsubscribe from your emails.

Which is required by law.

Not allowing your readers the option to unsubscribe can lead to spam complaints; which can lead companies like Google to automatically think your company is spam. If the majority of your emails end up in the spam inbox, you’re out of business.

Besides the whole legal aspect, email marketing platforms like Mailchimp allow you to send, track and optimize your communications. And if your customer doesn’t like your message, they can unsubscribe. But if they like it, you can see what time they prefer to read you emails, what they click on and if you see any responses.

Check the video below of why email is still important in 2018 and beyond.
